WATCH YOUR HEAD!
So, a couple of weeks ago, Mr Head visited his barber and asked for a Number 1 haircut. Then, all of a sudden, the barber stopped and said, ‘Hi mate, I think you should have this nasty spot checked with your doctor’.
The nasty spot, as it turned out, was a melanoma. It has been hiding around the back of his head and just under the crown of the skull where Mr Head couldn’t see. Luckily it was an early-stage melanoma, and is gone now after a day procedure. Mr Head still needs to visit us every three to six months for the next couple of years to make sure the sneaky little bastard hasn’t come back or invited a few mates to pick up where he left off.
Mr Head is lucky. His barber saved him from the nasty melanoma on his head. How about yourself? Do you have some spots you were trying to ignore or you had never noticed? Only a professional examination can tell for sure.
