Anyone can get skin cancer, regardless of skin colour. However when detected earlier, skin cancer is highly treatable. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer. Even though, if it is detected early, eg. melanoma in-situ, and managed properly, the survival rate is over 95%.

Melanoma in situ may look like a small mole. Even though they may appear harmless, any new or suspicious-looking marks on your skin should be evaluated by doctors with proper training in skin cancer. Melanoma survivor, John, shared his story with us.
